Base Salary
$117k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain the highly available, performant core infrastructure of Cisco Nexus Dashboard.
- Automate installation, configuration, deployment, and inline upgrades for multi-node clusters across physical and virtual form factors.
- Develop infrastructure services for backup and restore, anomaly detection, and audit logging.
- Implement centralized authentication and authorization and manage certificate lifecycles for clusters and microservices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform scalability and resource efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus five years of related experience or master’s degree plus three years of related experience.
- Programming experience with Go and Python, including AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience rapidly prototyping AI solutions and engineering AI workflows and agents.
- Experience developing, deploying, and managing microservices on Kubernetes-based orchestration platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing robust software test plans.
- Preferred: proficiency with Linux internals, including process management, file systems, and networking.
- Preferred: understanding of distributed databases and messaging systems including PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and Kafka.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD pipelines.
