Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain e-commerce website features, pages, and components using modern web technologies.
  • Build responsive and mobile-first interfaces for product, category, search, and checkout pages.
  • Integrate REST APIs, payment gateways, analytics tools, and third-party e-commerce solutions.
  • Optimize website performance, page speed, accessibility, and SEO compliance.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, content teams, product managers, and QA teams.
  • Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and production defects.
  • Conduct code reviews and follow development standards and best practices.
  • Support platform upgrades, feature releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor website health, security, and user engagement metrics.
  • Document technical solutions and maintain development artifacts.
  • Perform cross-browser compatibility testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7 to 11 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and API integrations.
  • Experience with Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or Adobe Commerce.
  • Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles, SEO, and web performance optimization.
  • Experience with Git version control and CI/CD processes.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools.
  • Relevant web development certifications are preferred.
