Responsibilities
- Design and develop middleware, integration, and workflow-orchestration services connecting capital markets, blockchain, and market-infrastructure platforms.
- Build REST/API integrations, adapters, data mappings, canonical models, and transaction-processing workflows.
- Implement FIX 4.4 message mapping, validation, session management, routing, acknowledgements, execution reports, rejects, and error handling.
- Develop resilient asynchronous and event-driven processing using idempotency, retries, queueing, replay, recovery, and failure-handling patterns.
- Implement authentication, authorization, API security, audit logging, monitoring, operational status management, and end-to-end traceability.
- Develop automated unit and component tests and support SIT/E2E testing, deployment, configuration, CI/CD, and production readiness.
- Troubleshoot distributed integration and production issues and produce technical documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise integration or middleware applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with FIX 4.4, including message structures, tags, session management, routing, order lifecycle messages, and execution reporting.
- Experience integrating FIX 4.4 exchange order flows with API or middleware-based downstream systems, including DLT or other non-traditional market infrastructure.
- Strong development experience with Java/Spring Boot, .NET/C#, Node.js/TypeScript, or a comparable enterprise technology stack.
- Experience with workflow orchestration, transaction-processing applications, asynchronous processing, messaging, and event-driven patterns such as Kafka or MQ.
- Strong understanding of distributed-system patterns including idempotency, retries, timeouts, circuit breakers, concurrency, and failure recovery.
- Experience with relational databases, persistent transaction/state management, third-party or vendor APIs, secure enterprise application development, and audit logging.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, modern deployment practices, and troubleshooting distributed applications and interfaces.
- Financial-services integration experience in capital markets, payments, trading, or settlement and experience with financial-market messaging standards.
- Experience developing transaction orchestration in regulated or high-availability environments; exposure to blockchain/DLT, digital assets, smart assets, or custody platforms is preferred.
