Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the demo environment, asset library, live demos, video assets, and scenario flows for the GTM team.
- Lead technical discovery, demos, RFP support, security questionnaires, and multi-week POC and trial programs.
- Scope, build, test, and troubleshoot native and custom integrations across the e-commerce customer experience stack.
- Create custom workflows and integrations for existing accounts alongside field deployment managers.
- Draft, scope, and price Statements of Work and support technical ROI and volume analyses.
- Train Account Executives and Customer Success Managers on demos and communicate product gaps through Linear tickets and roadmap reviews.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of pre-sales experience as a Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer in B2B SaaS, with personal ownership of demos and POCs.
- Hands-on fluency with APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, API documentation, Postman, and integration feasibility assessment.
- Working knowledge of Shopify and helpdesks such as Gorgias, Zendesk, Kustomer, and Dixa, plus adjacent e-commerce CX tools.
- Ability to explain AI and technical concepts to non-technical CX or commerce leaders and write clear SOWs, RFP responses, and handoffs.
- Ability to prioritize across multiple simultaneous deals and operate independently in a fast-moving startup.
- Experience configuring, prompting, or selling LLM or AI agent products is preferred.
- Contact-center technology experience, custom-integration SOW experience, forward-deployed or implementation experience, and familiarity with the AI CX landscape are preferred.
