Responsibilities
- Implement new features in frontend applications for TiVo OS, smart TV, and in-car entertainment systems.
- Develop client-server communication and handle complex API integrations.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, QA, and Product Owner teams.
- Maintain and improve codebase quality.
- Participate in code reviews and learn coding best practices, architecture, and development processes.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of commercial software development experience.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Basic hands-on experience with Node.js or another backend language.
- Practical knowledge of AI-based tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Basic experience with automated testing using Jest or a similar framework.
- Understanding of coding practices, design patterns, REST APIs, and common software development practices.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and UNIX-based systems.
- Good spoken and written English at a minimum B2 level.
- Strong communication, collaboration, curiosity, analytical thinking, willingness to learn, and willingness to take responsibility.
- Preferred experience includes React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
