Responsibilities
- Develop new frontend features and components using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Design and develop web applications in the React ecosystem.
- Optimize application performance and scalability, including browser rendering performance.
- Solve incidents and troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Develop automated tests to meet business needs.
- Work with RESTful APIs and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with UX, clients, customer success teams, and quality assurance.
- Contribute to distributed, reactive applications and cross-team engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with frontend technologies and frameworks, particularly React.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, Git, CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Experience collaborating with other teams, such as UX.
- Strong communication and collaborative working skills.
- Preferred: programming experience in Go and/or Java.
- Preferred: experience building distributed, reactive applications.
- Preferred: understanding of databases, especially RDBMS.
- Preferred: experience with Kafka and the ELK stack.
