Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation efforts for new Metadata Platform components.
- Collaborate with partner teams and domain architects on system design and service integration.
- Design and implement scalable services focused on reliability, observability, operability, and efficiency.
- Define the platform vision and assemble feature roadmaps.
- Build and deploy high-quality software, including responsive frontend experiences and backend services.
- Mentor and coach engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices, coding standards, and complex technical issues.
- Strengthen engineering processes, principles, and culture through continuous improvement and blameless retrospectives.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript with at least one modern frontend framework such as React.
- Strong HTML and CSS knowledge, including responsive user interfaces, state management, accessibility, performance, and security basics.
- Backend coding experience with Node.js is required.
- Strong experience designing and implementing APIs and services, with a solid understanding of system design and data modeling.
- Experience leading a team of engineers and completing project milestones.
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers and providing technical feedback.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Experience deploying and operating microservices in a cloud environment is a bonus.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Azure is a bonus.
