Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end machine learning solutions from data preprocessing through model deployment and monitoring
- Develop and optimize agentic LLM solutions for healthcare applications using fine-tuning and Retrieval-Augmented Generation
- Create robust data pipelines for validation and deployment
- Build ML systems that process structured clinical data, medical imaging, and unstructured text
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate ML models into production infrastructure
- Ensure ML systems meet healthcare compliance requirements while maintaining high performance
- Design monitoring systems for model performance, data drift, and system health
- Lead research initiatives exploring state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques
- Collaborate with clinical experts to validate model outputs and medical accuracy
- Stay current with AI/ML developments, particularly in healthcare applications
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering focused on production ML systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and AI/LLM frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI
- Experience designing and implementing production-grade ML pipelines
- Proven experience deploying ML and LLM solutions in production environments
- Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning, NLP, and statistical modeling
- Experience with MLOps tools and best practices
- Proficiency working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing
- Strong software engineering skills and coding best practices
- Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
- Preferred experience integrating and optimizing LLMs in production environments
- Preferred proficiency with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and prompt engineering
- Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems
- Familiarity with vector databases, similarity search, message queuing systems, data streaming platforms, and data processing and analytics technologies
- Proven track record of high-quality coding and architectural design
