Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated software tests using Java/J2EE or C#.
- Build and execute web automation using Selenium WebDriver and JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain API automation using Rest Assured and Karate.
- Implement in-sprint, continuous, and CI/CD test automation using BDD practices.
- Perform database validations using SQL.
- Contribute to automation lifecycle activities including feasibility analysis, estimation, proof-of-concept execution, and delivery.
- Debug practical problems and provide effective technical solutions.
- Own and drive delivery independently.
- Support manual testing of web applications when needed.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in software test automation, including at least 4 years of automation experience.
- Strong programming and coding skills in Java/J2EE or C# with object-oriented programming, design patterns, and core programming concepts.
- Deep hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript.
- Candidates with 6 or more years of experience should have test framework development experience.
- Experience with API automation using Rest Assured, Karate, or similar tools.
- Experience with BDD and in-sprint automation using Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Experience with database validation and SQL.
- Hands-on CI/CD experience with Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, TestNG, and Serenity.
- Experience with continuous test automation using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Strong programming logic, problem-solving, debugging, communication, and independent delivery skills.
- Manual testing experience on web applications is preferred.
