Responsibilities
- Design and build automated tests for complex product scenarios.
- Develop and maintain test framework components and shared libraries.
- Maintain test suites in CI/CD by adjusting pipelines, configuring jobs and secrets, and resolving environment issues.
- Review engineers’ test code and coach them on framework usage.
- Analyze test failures, distinguish product defects from test instability, and improve suite stability.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and become a go-to resource for framework components.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional test automation experience with ownership of complex suites or framework components.
- Professional-level TypeScript expertise.
- Experience with Playwright or comparable modern UI/API automation tooling.
- Experience with BDD test design using Gherkin or Cucumber-style approaches.
- Hands-on CI/CD experience, including pipeline updates, build-job configuration, secrets management, and test-environment configuration.
- Experience with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
- Solid code review practices and test data management experience.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Lottery, gaming, or other regulated-industry experience is an additional asset.
- Docker or comparable containerization experience is an additional asset.
- Performance-testing or API contract-testing experience is an additional asset.
