Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own scoped feature and model delivery in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Write clean, efficient, reliable code and participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Integrate AI/ML components and generative AI tools using internal and external APIs.
- Participate in solution design and design reviews for scalable, maintainable systems.
- Monitor application performance, implement telemetry, and support defect management through debugging.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor peers and promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive software development experience with proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding practices.
- Experience delivering scoped features and models through iterative development and continuous integration.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components and using generative AI tools.
- Understanding of software lifecycle management, automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
- Technical judgment in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and three years of software engineering experience, or five years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Preferred: master's degree in a relevant field and one year of software engineering experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
