Base Salary
$90k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own delivery of scoped software features and models through collaborative engineering teams.
- Write clean, maintainable code and drive the full software development lifecycle, including automated testing and deployment.
- Integrate AI/ML components and generative AI tools into software solutions.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, debugging, and application of scalable design patterns.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes with stakeholders.
- Monitor application performance, resolve defects, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Mentor peers and contribute to continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus three years of software engineering experience, or five years of software engineering experience.
- Extensive experience developing software with Java and Spring Boot-based applications and microservices.
- Strong object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding skills.
- Experience delivering scoped features and models through iterative development and continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components and using generative AI tools.
- Skills in solution design, technical leadership, scalable systems, and maintainable design patterns.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree plus one year of software engineering experience.
- Preferred knowledge includes WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
