Base Salary
$172k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized distributed services that process cloud data, real-time events, and network telemetry.
- Design, defend, implement, deploy, and operate critical services and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle.
- Write primarily in Go and work with data pipelines using SQL and other interfaces.
- Own code quality and conduct developer, functional, and integration testing.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
- Partner with Product Management, customers, stakeholders, and peers to refine requirements and solve customer problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API or programming level.
- Experience with Go, SQL, REST API clients, and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- Experience delivering containerized services, preferably on Kubernetes.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- Experience with networking and security controls is a plus.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is nice to have.
- Willingness to learn continuously and work collaboratively.
