Base Salary
$220k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the backend services and data pipelines powering Grader scans from third-party signal ingestion through reliable result delivery.
- Improve platform latency, uptime, observability, alerting, and incident reduction ahead of product expansion.
- Establish shared abstractions, operational runbooks, and architectural patterns that reduce engineering toil.
- Partner with the PLG product and AI Agents teams as Grader evolves into an AI-powered restaurant-owner tool.
Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience with meaningful ownership of backend services in production.
- Have experience building and operating data pipelines, third-party integrations, and asynchronous processing systems at scale.
- Demonstrate a track record of improving system reliability through observability, alerting, incident reduction, and operational practices.
- Have experience at a product-focused startup or scale-up with end-to-end system ownership.
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, ownership, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
