Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain travel software, automated workflows, and technical processes.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to reduce repetitive work through automation.
- Connect enterprise applications, databases, and APIs to create end-to-end technical workflows.
- Consult with internal customers, gather technical requirements, and recommend solutions and best practices.
- Maintain applications, apply vendor releases and patches, and coordinate application changes and upgrades.
- Document automation designs, processes, and procedures for governance, audits, and operational use.
- Provide email and Zendesk support, diagnose customer issues, develop solutions, and escalate unresolved problems.
- Coordinate with internal departments, subject-matter experts, customers, and third-party vendors.
- Prepare progress reports for leadership covering workload, project status, barriers, and recommended solutions.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in the travel industry.
- Expertise in at least one Global Distribution System.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Solid understanding of JSON, XML, web services, and SQL databases.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, and handle multiple priorities.
