Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable, maintainable internal business and store-management applications.
- Translate operational and business requirements into reliable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, operations stakeholders, UX designers, and engineering peers.
- Participate in technical discovery, design, architecture planning, documentation, and tradeoff evaluation.
- Extend platform capabilities and integrate with third-party services and enterprise backend systems.
- Implement responsive, usable, and high-fidelity UI/UX designs for high-volume internal users.
- Use approved AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve development velocity.
- Support production readiness through automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD improvements, monitoring, observability, SLA/SLO adherence, and incident response.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on software development experience building web applications with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with enterprise backend services.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery lifecycle.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control and collaboration workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience writing clean, modular, and well-tested code.
- Preferred experience with React and modern state management.
- Preferred experience building backend services and APIs with Node.js and Express, with familiarity with .NET and C#.
- Preferred experience with Git-based automation, AWS cloud infrastructure, and unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Preferred experience with enterprise workflows such as retail or point-of-sale systems, document management, payment gateways, e-signatures, or telephony integrations.
- Preferred experience with SQL Server, MySQL, DynamoDB, performance tuning, caching, and service reliability or observability.
