Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Drive feature development, platform modernization, architectural decisions, and technical strategy for a high-scale batch decisioning platform.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams, including coding standards, design patterns, operational excellence, and mentoring.
- Partner with product managers and architects to deliver cloud-based solutions, define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify performance improvements, reduce technical debt, and troubleshoot distributed cloud systems in a you-build-it-you-own-it environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, excluding internships.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree, 7+ years coding with multiple listed languages, database and cloud experience, open-source framework contributions, frontend framework experience, API development, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and Git-based version control.
- Preferred: experience troubleshooting cloud environments, using AI coding tools and interactive AI tooling, mentoring engineers, applying observability, leading large-scale technical initiatives, and enforcing coding standards and design patterns.
