Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and deploy redundant, resilient, scalable, and self-healing AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure, including clusters, namespaces, and deployments.
- Develop infrastructure as code, automation, CI/CD workflows, and operational procedures.
- Monitor infrastructure, configure alerting, troubleshoot issues, and support customer environments.
- Work independently with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate features and enhancements.
- Implement and maintain compliance and security practices in operational infrastructure.
- Train and mentor junior DevOps engineers and new team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
- At least 4 years of experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Experience with Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Rancher, or similar container orchestration tools.
- Experience with Puppet or Ansible, containers, Docker, or Docker Compose.
- Scripting experience with Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on AWS solution architecture, CI/CD pipeline design, Kubernetes production management, and Docker expertise.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Strong knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud-native infrastructure security.
- Effective English communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a project team.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Professional, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator certifications are preferred.
