Base Salary
$130k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build cloud-native backend services using Scala, Akka, and ZIO.
- Develop unit and integration tests using ScalaTest and ZIO Test.
- Collaborate with Product Management throughout the software development process, including requirements definition and work-in-progress reviews.
- Address issues identified through testing.
- Participate in stand-up meetings and peer code reviews as part of the standard software development and change management processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering.
- At least 5 years of web-based application development experience.
- Experience with Scala, Node.js, or Java is a plus.
- Understanding of relational or NoSQL database concepts and modeling practices.
- Ability to learn new technologies, solve problems, work independently or collaboratively, and communicate effectively.
