Senior Machine learning Engineer
Bosch GlobalResponsibilities
- Manage and optimize Azure Blob Storage, VNETs, hybrid Kubernetes clusters, and cloud and on-premise compute resources for deep learning workloads.
- Benchmark next-generation hardware and infrastructure deployments, including H200 versus H100 and Azure-native versus deployment nodes.
- Architect and develop high-performance data loaders for multimodal camera, radar, temporal, and non-temporal datasets.
- Modernize data pipelines with Ray and Kubernetes for parallelized caching, shuffling, and oversampling, using PyArrow and SQL for efficient data integration.
- Design and maintain GitHub Workflows and CI pipelines, dependency updates, code reviews, and software architecture standards.
- Develop Grafana dashboards and monitoring for compute usage, GPU efficiency, unit test duration, and system health.
- Establish scalable evaluation pipelines for QNN boards and other embedded devices, including model compression and on-target performance verification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in MLOps, data engineering, or software infrastructure focused on deep learning systems.
- Expert-level Python proficiency with clean software design, object-oriented programming, and architectural patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Azure ML, and Azure storage and networking.
- Proficiency with Ray, PyArrow, and SQL, including optimization of data-loading bottlenecks for GPU training.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and observability stacks with Grafana and Prometheus.
- Strong understanding of deep learning workflows such as PyTorch, training loops, and multi-task learning.
- Experience deploying or evaluating models on embedded hardware such as Qualcomm QNN, or establishing hardware-in-the-loop pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, adaptability, collaboration, and proactive execution skills.
