Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, and debug silicon validation tests in bare-metal C/C++ on FPGA and emulators before first silicon.
- Deploy validation tests on first silicon and debug them.
- Develop automated test frameworks and Python regression test suites.
- Analyze test results and identify and debug failures and defects.
- Contribute to shared test and validation infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines and implement best practices and continuous improvements to test methodologies.
- Provide feedback to architects and technical guidance to other engineering team members.
- Report project status and progress to program management.
Requirements
- Strong experience with bare-metal and embedded C/C++.
- Experience with Python and Linux.
- Experience with post-silicon validation processes in digital ASIC environments.
- Understanding of ML applications and their workloads.
- Ability to diagnose complex issues across teams and programming languages.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Desirable: 10+ years of experience and experience building and leading multisite teams.
- Desirable: driver-level experience with PCIe, Ethernet, LPDDR, DDR, HBM, I2C, I3C, SPI, or other peripherals.
- Desirable: knowledge of mixed-signal building blocks such as PLLs, high-speed PHYs, and IC control and communication protocols.
- Desirable: experience with Arm CPUs, System IP, debug tools, characterization, failure analysis, test development, and statistical analysis.
- Desirable: experience with AMBA protocols.
