Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain OCI security guardrails across tenancy and compartment hierarchies using policy-as-code and infrastructure-as-code automation.
- Build and optimize cloud detection and response capabilities using OCI logging, monitoring, events, and SIEM integrations.
- Define cloud IAM, RBAC, and least-privilege controls.
- Lead or support cloud security incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
- Drive vulnerability and misconfiguration management for OCI assets, including prioritization, exception governance, and remediation tracking.
- Track security posture KPIs and report control coverage, remediation velocity, and residual risk to leadership.
- Share security insights, industry practices, and emerging trends across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree.
- 4+ years of knowledge and experience working in software and cloud infrastructure engineering with various technology platforms.
- Experience with OCI security guardrails, policy-as-code, and infrastructure-as-code automation.
- Experience defining cloud IAM, RBAC, and least-privilege controls.
- Proven expertise with continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Terraform, CFT, or similar tools.
- Preferred experience leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve engineering productivity, operational efficiency, or developer workflows.
- Preferred experience with InsightCloudSec, Wiz, Zscaler, Defender for Cloud, Cloud Guard, and Data Safe.
- Ability to learn, stay curious, and validate new features.
