Base Salary
$152k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and drive application architecture for humanoid robotics in collaboration with architecture and software development teams.
- Scale deployment and integration of whole-body controller and manipulation algorithms into robotic solutions and products.
- Integrate hardware and software components and develop scalable software solutions.
- Lead profiling, benchmarking, evaluation, and verification activities.
- Provide technical guidance and strategies for resolving functional and system-performance issues.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams in the US, APAC, and Europe to deploy solutions to customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of work-related experience in software development related to robotics.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent experience in computer science, robotics, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing software products involving machine learning and reinforcement learning, hands-on physical robot experience, and/or publishing in robotics conferences such as RSS, CoRL, ICRA, IROS, or NeurIPS.
- Proficiency in application development and scalability for autonomous machines and familiarity with robotics or automotive middleware frameworks.
- Experience with robot simulation platforms and simulation-based reinforcement learning for training and validation; sim-to-real transfer of reinforcement-learning policies is a plus.
- Proficiency in Python and C/C++; GPU programming or CUDA experience is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with real-world humanoid robotic systems or mobile manipulators, especially loco-manipulation and dexterous-hand manipulation, is a plus.
- Experience with ROS 2, Isaac SIM, and Isaac Lab or equivalent is a plus.
- Understanding of NVIDIA Isaac, NVIDIA GPU hardware, and CUDA is a plus.
- Open-source contributions and mentorship experience are additional differentiators.
