Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical vision for intelligent networking, distributed systems, real-time processing, agentic AI, and machine learning capabilities.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle from architecture and implementation through testing, deployment, and production operations.
- Design and build scalable data pipelines, distributed microservices, agentic solutions, and integrations with networking systems.
- Lead technical discussions and participate hands-on in design reviews, code reviews, and implementation.
- Mentor engineers, establish technical direction, and foster engineering excellence.
- Improve system architecture, performance, resilience, security, observability, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of complete software development lifecycle experience, including architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production operations.
- 10+ years of programming experience with at least one general-purpose language, preferably Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- 3+ years leading the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.
- Experience designing high-volume, high-velocity data systems with stringent scalability, availability, latency, and reliability requirements.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Ability to solve complex and ambiguous technical problems and turn them into pragmatic production solutions.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: Experience with scalable event-driven microservices, generative AI or agentic systems, networking and observability platforms, large-scale datasets, and distributed processing technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Flink, PySpark, or MapReduce.
