Responsibilities
- Design, plan, configure, deploy, and support storage technologies, including capacity planning, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end applications and add or enhance product functionality using C++ and C.
- Design large-scale, multi-tier software and storage environments and write product requirement specifications.
- Develop and integrate code, implement test strategies, analyze code, review teammates’ work, and address software defects.
- Prepare technical documentation and present project status.
- Collaborate with developers and work independently to deliver high-quality code and products.
- Support build and automation activities in Unix environments.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of software development experience.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills using C++.
- In-depth experience building end-to-end applications for Unix environments using C++ and C.
- Experience with Windows and Unix, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and threads.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale, multi-tier applications.
- Understanding of web services on Windows and Unix.
- Familiarity with networking protocols including TCP/IP and TLS/SSL.
- Understanding of security fundamentals such as authentication and cryptography is desirable.
- Familiarity with Windows and Unix security mechanisms.
- Experience building REST clients is a plus.
- Good build and automation understanding on Unix.
- Knowledge of Java, cloud technologies, security, and AI use for work is advantageous.
