Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build 0-to-1 product experiences across backend services, APIs, integrations, and frontend workflows.
- Design and implement backend systems for product logic, orchestration, data access, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Contribute to React-based frontend applications through close frontend-backend iteration.
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, and AI/ML partners to turn ambiguous ideas into shipped products.
- Prototype quickly and harden successful concepts into maintainable systems.
- Build internal and customer-facing workflows using AI, structured data, and software automation.
- Help define product requirements through technical judgment and improve quality through instrumentation, testing, and system design.
- Use AI for coding, debugging, investigation, product exploration, and iteration, while helping raise team velocity.
Requirements
- Strong product-minded software engineering experience with a backend center of gravity and full-stack capability.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and drive work from concept through production.
- Strong experience with backend systems, APIs, integrations, and data-heavy application logic.
- Experience with Python, FastAPI, or similar service-oriented systems is preferred.
- Meaningful experience with React-based frontend applications, TypeScript, and React Router or Remix-style frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, or other relational data systems is preferred.
- Experience with GCP or similar cloud environments is preferred.
- Experience building AI-powered products, internal tools, workflow software, or operational software is preferred.
- Experience in startup environments or healthcare, fintech, logistics, or other operationally complex domains is preferred.
- Strong product instincts, communication, ownership, and judgment about using AI to accelerate engineering and product development.
