Responsibilities
- Implement application security controls and SAST, DAST, and IAST testing tools.
- Perform application vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with developers to remediate vulnerabilities and enforce secure coding practices.
- Automate security testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and respond to application security threats and incidents.
- Maintain security documentation, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Support the secure integration and configuration of new applications and technologies.
- Assist with security awareness programs for development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably as an application security engineer.
- Knowledge of application security concepts, principles, tools, vulnerability scanners, and code analysis tools.
- Expertise in secure coding practices and methodologies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards including ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Knowledge of the OWASP framework and defensible architectures.
- English proficiency is required; German and French are additional advantages.
- CISSP, OSCP, or AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud certifications are preferred.
