Responsibilities
- Implement application security controls and tools for SAST, DAST, and IAST testing.
- Perform application vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with developers to remediate security issues and enforce secure coding practices.
- Automate security testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and respond to application security threats and incidents.
- Maintain security documentation, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Support the secure integration and configuration of new applications and technologies.
- Assist with security awareness programs for development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in an application security engineering role.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, OSCP, and cloud certifications for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- English proficiency is required; German and French are a plus.
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards including ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Deep understanding of application security concepts and principles.
- Knowledge of application security tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanners and code analysis tools.
- Expertise in secure coding practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge of the OWASP framework and defensible architectures.
