Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end product features across frontend and backend systems.
- Develop APIs, backend services, distributed systems, and asynchronous pipelines for workflow automation and data processing.
- Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces and contribute to frontend architecture and component systems.
- Use AWS services and queueing systems such as SQS to support scalable infrastructure.
- Own features from concept through production while ensuring system reliability, performance, and observability.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering on product planning, technical scoping, architecture decisions, and customer-focused solutions.
Requirements
- Computer science background with hands-on application-building experience, including internships, co-ops, or projects.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
- Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Node.js or Django.
- Experience designing APIs and working with distributed systems or asynchronous processing.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Preferred experience includes workflow tools, internal platforms, data-heavy applications, document processing, OCR, AI/ML integrations, drag-and-drop interfaces, complex frontend state management, high-throughput systems, regulated industries, or B2B SaaS.
