Responsibilities
- Build software solutions for complex, high-impact problems at Stripe.
- Learn and navigate unfamiliar systems through independent research and collaboration with mentors or subject matter experts.
- Contribute to multi-person coding projects and larger technical initiatives.
- Lead small projects independently when appropriate.
- Use AI tools to accelerate development while reviewing, refining, and validating their outputs.
- Explain technical work clearly to stakeholders, team members, and other Stripes.
Requirements
- Be available to start full-time before December 1, 2026.
- Have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a directly related field by summer 2026, or equivalent work experience.
- New graduate candidates must have no more than 18 months of professional experience, excluding internships.
- Have programming experience through side projects or classwork and familiarity with programming fundamentals.
- Have experience from internships or collaborative multi-person coding projects in a university or professional setting.
- Be able to learn unfamiliar systems and work independently with appropriate support.
- Have clear written communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include frontend, backend, infrastructure, or other specialized technical knowledge; code review and production-system update experience; familiarity with large codebases; and experience leading small projects independently.
