Base Salary
$235k - $236k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain Firecrawl’s internal AI stack, including agent harnesses, configurations, shared skills, and model routing.
- Roll out agent workflows beginning with the revenue team and expand adoption across the company.
- Work directly with employees to build workflows, address skepticism, and make effective agent use stick.
- Analyze token spend and improve cost per useful token through model choice, routing, caching, and workflow optimization.
- Build missing capabilities in code, including MCP servers, hooks, evaluations, and internal tooling.
- Track changes in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and emerging AI tools and incorporate useful improvements quickly.
- Explain the value of token-based scaling and AI adoption to salespeople, lawyers, engineers, and other teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Experience rolling out coding agents or AI tooling across a team and demonstrating adoption beyond a pilot.
- Technical engineering or operator background with hands-on coding experience.
- Practical experience using Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex and building missing tooling when necessary.
- Experience analyzing spend data and changing workflows, model usage, or routing based on cost and output.
- Strong teaching, communication, empathy, and change-enablement skills, with a preference for pairing and showing rather than only writing documentation.
- Ability to explain technical and economic concepts to audiences with different backgrounds.
- Experience as an early startup engineer, founder, or leader of a difficult tooling change is valued.
