Responsibilities
- Build and scale systems and services for Alpaca's payments and treasury platform.
- Design and implement solutions to achieve defined goals.
- Maintain a modern, event-driven architecture for money movement.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure system integrity and operational scalability.
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive treasury platform.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working on systems at scale.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining microservices.
- Strong coding skills, preferably in Go.
- Experience with client-facing APIs and domain-driven design.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, especially Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of payment rails and the payment lifecycle.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
