Responsibilities
- Analyze and respond to security anomalies, intrusion attempts, breaches, and suspected security incidents in Taiwan.
- Perform root-cause analysis, containment, mitigation, and incident reporting.
- Conduct threat hunting using endpoint, server, cloud, network, and other data collected through SIEM platforms.
- Review tickets and analyze security events escalated from the Cyber Security Operations Center.
- Improve incident response policies, procedures, and processes.
- Participate in on-call response for urgent security events and issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams on incident response and long-term preventive controls.
Requirements
- 12+ years of information security experience, including at least 8+ years as a cyber security incident analyst.
- English proficiency.
- Experience analyzing security events and AWS or other cloud environments.
- Experience analyzing Windows, Linux, and Mac system logs.
- Experience querying SIEM platforms to analyze security events from logs.
- Ability to analyze large-scale data and logs.
- Experience conducting host-based security investigations across Windows, Linux, and network or security appliances.
- Experience analyzing events from network security solutions such as IPS, IDS, network monitoring solutions, and NetFlow.
- Experience analyzing events from endpoint security solutions such as EDR, HIPS, antivirus, and DLP.
- Experience analyzing security events from web applications, mobile applications, and email security systems.
- Automation and scripting experience with Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of container environments such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Preferred: current knowledge of network traffic, packet analysis, and forensics.
