Responsibilities
- Define and implement new P4 language features and extensions.
- Develop optimizations for the P4 language compiler.
- Debug and fix existing issues and research more efficient solutions.
- Perform performance analysis.
- Provide customer support.
- Participate in ASIC co-design.
- Build technical relationships with peers and partners and stay current with compiler, language, software, hardware, and networking developments.
Requirements
- Strong C++ skills and the ability to write high-quality, detail-oriented code.
- Ability to test and review code.
- Experience with the LLVM framework is preferred.
- Familiarity with the P4 language or networking domain is a plus but not required.
- Experience with debuggers, source code control systems such as GitHub, and profilers is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
