Responsibilities
- Drive architecture and design for high-quality data pipelines and systems.
- Define roadmaps and technical vision for scalable, robust online serving platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to make platforms open and extensible.
- Align stakeholders and lead engineers on mission-critical projects.
- Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions using internal and industry best practices.
- Investigate and resolve critical system issues.
- Work with geographically distributed engineers to build reliable systems at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- At least 12 years of software design and development experience with Java and Python.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available systems.
- Experience with large-scale system architecture and development.
- Experience with cloud computing using AWS.
- Experience developing container-based testing environments.
- Experience with the Java, IntelliJ, and Spring environment.
