Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain CI pipelines.
- Promote DevOps practices across development squads.
- Configure and fine-tune cloud infrastructure systems.
- Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into production.
- Support development teams using automated infrastructure.
- Build and maintain fully automated, reliable environments for high-availability systems.
- Troubleshoot production problems and collaborate on resolving large-scale incidents.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent qualification.
- Commanding knowledge of Unix/Linux and strong Bash or Python scripting skills.
- Experience with Git, automated deployment tools, Jenkins or CircleCI, Puppet or Ansible, Maven, and Gradle.
- Operational knowledge of Nginx and Tomcat.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SOAP XML, RDBMS and NoSQL database administration, Node.js, JSON, and YAML.
- Understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Experience with Docker and AWS.
- Basic familiarity with Docker Swarm or Kubernetes and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Pingdom, or New Relic.
- Preferred basic knowledge of application, network, and systems security.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting experience, collaboration skills, communication skills, independent decision-making, and willingness to learn.
