Base Salary
$140k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate end-to-end multi-cloud infrastructure provisioning using Python, Go, and infrastructure as code.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with policy enforcement, secrets management, zero-trust controls, and container security scans.
- Implement self-healing infrastructure, self-service developer environments, and automated disaster recovery.
- Orchestrate containerized applications with Kubernetes or HashiCorp Nomad.
- Standardize infrastructure modules, reverse proxy routing, service mesh patterns, and internal developer platform capabilities.
- Lead Agile engineering practices, technical grooming, and sprint planning.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, operational runbooks, and architectural analysis.
- Participate in production on-call operations, incident management, and post-incident reviews.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering, cloud automation engineering, or DevOps/platform engineering roles.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Python or Go development for system automation and tooling.
- At least 2 years of experience building and managing infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- At least 2 years of experience with Terraform and configuration management tools.
- At least 2 years of production Kubernetes or HashiCorp Nomad experience alongside GitOps and CI/CD practices.
- At least 2 years of experience with networking constructs, HashiCorp Vault, and API design standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
- Preferred experience with Backstage, Open Application Model, Radius, Helm, Istio, Apache Airflow, Google Cloud Composer, and HAProxy.
Benefits
- Salary range is $140,000.00-$210,000.00 for employees in Sunnyvale, California; ranges may differ in other states.
- Eligible employees may receive an annual incentive opportunity consisting of cash bonus and equity awards at the company's discretion.
