Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of full-stack enterprise systems using TypeScript, React, and Go.
- Develop agentic and AI product capabilities, including AI agents, MCP servers, and LLM-powered features.
- Own production readiness, observability, reliability, security, performance, and infrastructure delivery for team services.
- Use Terraform or CloudFormation to deploy infrastructure as code and instrument services with OpenTelemetry and structured JSON logging.
- Drive adoption of internal developer platform capabilities, IDP templates, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform modules.
- Partner with platform and product teams, contribute to shared templates and modules, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Conduct technical design reviews, establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, and transfer knowledge through documentation and live sessions.
- Integrate complex enterprise APIs and systems such as Workday, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, including ownership of production systems at scale.
- Expert-level TypeScript and React proficiency, strong backend experience with Go, and 5+ years of production Python experience.
- Experience with asynchronous Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Starlette.
- Deep understanding of system design, API architecture, security, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, end-to-end project ownership, engineering standards development, and mentoring experience.
- Experience operating in a DevOps or self-service environment where product teams own infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
- Experience with ServiceNow and legal, compliance, and procurement systems or applications.
- Deep CI/CD expertise with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code expertise with Terraform or similar tools.
- Experience with internal developer portals such as Backstage, including golden paths, software templates, and service catalogs.
- Production experience building AI agents, MCP servers, and LLM applications; AWS Bedrock experience is a strong differentiator.
- Deep AWS infrastructure knowledge, including IAM role chaining, Secrets Manager, ECR, and VPC networking.
- Hands-on Model Context Protocol and AWS Bedrock AgentCore experience.
- Advanced OAuth 2.0/OIDC implementation, including On-Behalf-Of flows and JWT validation.
- Experience authoring Spotify Backstage templates and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience integrating complex enterprise APIs such as Workday, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
