Responsibilities
- Develop and improve the global trading platform, data infrastructure, and related software.
- Build real-time data capture, exchange connectivity, order entry, and monitoring capabilities across dozens of exchanges.
- Write scalable, robust, fail-safe, and high-performance C++ and Python code.
- Optimize the trading system’s performance and scalability on Linux workstations and servers.
- Work independently with experienced developers and traders to deliver direct improvements to trading operations.
Requirements
- Strong C++ programming skills, assessed during the hiring process.
- Experience examining how C++ standard libraries and other solutions are implemented.
- Strong analytical skills, assessed during the hiring process.
- Understanding of data structures and client-server network applications.
- Experience writing and optimizing high-performance code.
- Understanding of networking, CPU and memory models, and assembly language is desirable.
- Interest in algorithmic and quantitative trading is a plus.
