Responsibilities
- Orchestrate production data and ML pipelines on Databricks Jobs, including task dependencies and failure-mode management.
- Configure and maintain Databricks Asset Bundles deployments across development, QA, and production targets with country-specific resource and deployment files.
- Manage model and artifact registration, versioning, Champion/Challenger aliases, and rollback using MLflow and Unity Catalog.
- Manage compute across workspaces, standardize FinOps cost-monitoring tags, and integrate AIOps and observability capabilities.
- Diagnose runtime incidents and coordinate with development squads to maintain end-to-end product operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience orchestrating data and ML pipelines on Databricks, including Jobs, Workflows, and cluster policies.
- Solid CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, Gitflow, and pull requests.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Databricks Asset Bundles.
- Advanced Python and SQL skills.
- Experience with Delta and Unity Catalog.
- Familiarity with code-quality tools and standards including Black, isort, and mypy.
