Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deliver software for Alexa Audio features and services.
- Build infrastructure that brings LLM capabilities into Alexa Audio experiences.
- Create tools to evaluate and improve model accuracy while reducing latency and customer friction.
- Influence operational excellence initiatives involving peak readiness, hardware efficiency, scaling, throttling, availability, and resiliency.
- Provide design and coding feedback and promote engineering best practices across teams.
- Mentor junior engineers, support onboarding and hiring, and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
