Responsibilities

Define and evolve quality engineering vision and strategy for high-scale distributed systems.
Drive shift-left testing, quality-by-design, testability, reliability, and architecture improvements.
Design and build scalable, reusable automation frameworks, test tools, and test infrastructure.
Establish functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, resilience, data-validation, and production-validation practices.
Enhance CI/CD pipelines and standardize quality metrics, reporting, and release quality gates.
Partner with Engineering, Product, Platform, and DevOps teams to improve production quality, reduce incidents, and increase system resilience.
Mentor and coach engineers, provide design and code review guidance, participate in hiring, and lead cross-team quality initiatives.

10+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering or SDET roles.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Golang, Java, or C#.
Experience building scalable, reusable, enterprise-grade test frameworks, tools, and infrastructure for large-scale distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitLab preferred, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience with microservices architectures, APIs, data-intensive systems, and validating large datasets and pipelines.
Deep expertise in test strategy, methodologies, and automation at scale.
Ability to influence cross-team quality, lead initiatives, guide engineers, and drive engineering excellence without direct authority.
Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, systems-thinking, ownership, and communication skills.
