Responsibilities
- Develop C++-based game security and Anti-Cheat client modules.
- Detect and respond to game client tampering, memory manipulation, code injection, hooking, debugging, and automation tools.
- Design and implement user-mode and kernel-mode security features.
- Analyze Windows internals, including processes, threads, memory, drivers, and system calls, to identify security threats.
- Review and improve detection logic for stability, performance, and false-positive risks.
- Analyze new cheating and attack techniques and research defensive technologies.
- Provide technical support and improvements for deploying KSS security features across diverse game environments.
Requirements
- Demonstrated C++ software development ability.
- Experience developing Windows client software or equivalent understanding.
- Understanding of Windows internals, including processes, threads, virtual memory, synchronization, DLLs, and PE structures.
- Ability to understand x64 Assembly and analyze disassembled code.
- Understanding of operating-system concepts including kernels, drivers, system calls, interrupts, and memory management.
- Basic knowledge of computer architecture, CPU operation, memory structure, and executable loading.
- Ability to analyze problems from a security perspective and design with bypass possibilities in mind.
- No restrictions preventing overseas business travel.
- Preferred: experience developing Anti-Cheat, DRM, EDR, security solutions, or client protection technologies.
- Preferred: Windows Kernel Driver development experience.
- Preferred: understanding of x86/x64 Assembly, calling conventions, exception handling, and debugging techniques.
- Preferred: experience using IDA, Ghidra, WinDbg, or x64dbg.
- Preferred: understanding of code injection, API Hooking, Manual Mapping, DKOM, Rootkit, Anti-Debugging, and Anti-Tamper techniques.
- Preferred: understanding of TPM, Secure Boot, VBS, and HVCI.
- Preferred: experience operating security features reliably in large-scale live-game environments.
- Preferred: low-level systems programming experience considering performance, stability, and compatibility.
