Responsibilities
- Support internal business units through shared engineering services.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to understand and meet their needs.
- Work with customer-facing teams to improve their operational efficiency.
- Enhance observability through metrics, alerting, and telemetry integration.
- Identify improvements for Continuous Deployment processes.
- Utilize infrastructure as code in a cloud environment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for cross-functional infrastructure improvements.
- Automate upgrades for managed services and VMs.
- Design, build, test, and document core software components.
- Participate in incident response and customer support escalations.
- Analyze and improve system efficiency, scalability, and stability.
Requirements
- Experience with CI/CD, secrets management, and observability.
- Familiarity with distributed systems.
- Experience operating managed services in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Kubernetes in production is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of networking concepts like IP addressing and routing.
- Experience with Go programming language is a plus.
- Ability to give and process constructive feedback.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic startup environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
