Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and technical design of GenAI and Big Data platforms from data ingestion and retrieval through model integration and user experience.
- Design and build a Finance Analyst GenAI chatbot with retrieval, grounding, evaluation, and response safety capabilities.
- Translate ambiguous financial and product requirements into technical designs and drive prototypes through production launch.
- Set and enforce standards for operational excellence, security, testing, and deployment safety.
- Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and strengthen the broader Controllership Engineering organization.
- Partner with Product, Finance, and Data Science stakeholders to align technical decisions with analyst workflows and business outcomes.
- Improve reliability, reduce manual toil, and remove recurring sources of defects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
