Responsibilities
- Build, deliver, and maintain reliable, scalable, secure messaging and infrastructure solutions.
- Manage and integrate Exchange Online, hybrid deployments, and SMTP gateway platforms.
- Monitor infrastructure and system performance, manage incidents, and reduce mean time to resolution.
- Develop PowerShell and Python automation and API integrations to reduce manual intervention.
- Implement identity management, directory services, cloud security, and infrastructure protection measures.
- Support journaling, compliance, and archival solutions including Purview, Enterprise Vault, and GlobalRelay.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and other functions to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
- Lead complex assignments or teams, coach colleagues, advise stakeholders, and strengthen risk, governance, and control processes.
Requirements
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Exchange Online, Exchange integrations, and hybrid deployments.
- Experience with SMTP gateways such as MailMarshal, Proofpoint, or Mimecast.
- Good understanding of identity management using Entra, Active Directory, and hybrid environments.
- Experience with directory services, cloud security, PowerShell or Python scripting, API integrations, and the DevOps model.
- Experience with journaling and compliance solutions such as Purview, Enterprise Vault, or GlobalRelay is desirable.
- Previous experience in architecture and engineering teams is desirable but not essential.
- Working knowledge of Lean, Agile/Scrum, ITIL, and the Microsoft technology stack.
