Base Salary
$332k - $421k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic vision for improving efficiency and performance of Waymo compute infrastructure.
- Work with and influence partners and stakeholders across Waymo to build joint roadmaps.
- Establish top-level performance and efficiency KPIs and metrics to monitor key business outcomes.
- Provide leadership in complex technical problem-solving and emergency situations.
- Act as a senior reviewer for large scale changes and develop decision-making processes.
Requirements
- 15 years of professional experience as a hands-on software engineer.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Leadership skills to influence technical leaders across the company.
