Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain test infrastructure and automation for a complex ML software stack.
- Architect and evolve scalable, maintainable test frameworks and tooling.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines targeting simulators, emulators such as QEMU, and physical hardware.
- Create representative ML workloads and analyze numerical accuracy, performance, and benchmarking results.
- Collaborate with software development teams to promote quality, security, and maintainability.
- Review code and designs and uphold software engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and raise the team’s technical capability.
- Evaluate test strategies and infrastructure, identify gaps, and drive improvements.
Requirements
- Production-quality software engineering experience.
- Strong software design and architecture experience with large or complex systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience maintaining production codebases.
- Experience with CI/CD systems and automated testing, preferably GitHub-based workflows.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with C or C++, including the ability to read, debug, and reason about low-level code.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and influence engineering practices.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Desirable experience with PyTorch, JAX, Triton, TensorFlow, Kubernetes, VLLM, Keras, MLOps pipelines, QEMU, or FPGA-based systems.
- People management or mentoring experience is desirable.
