Base Salary
$69k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure virtual and cloud infrastructures.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
- Automate security best practices and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to improve DevSecOps pipelines.
- Create and maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs.
- Identify constraints, remove bottlenecks, improve processes, and create operational efficiencies.
- Support backup and disaster recovery strategy development and implementation.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and a current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience in systems engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer supporting classified Department of War or Intelligence Community operations.
- Experience with Puppet, Ansible, or similar automated configuration management tools within a CI/CD framework.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation, diagnostics, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and STIG compliance requirements.
- Experience with ACAS or Nessus vulnerability scanning and remediation of findings for ATO compliance.
- Ability to work effectively in distributed, mission-focused teams and adapt to changing operational priorities.
- Experience with Docker or Podman in classified environments is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or ArgoCD is preferred.
- Familiarity with incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning is preferred.
- Experience with private or commercial cloud infrastructure supporting classified workloads is preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ or other relevant certification is preferred.
- An advanced degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
