Base Salary
$58k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support advanced technology radar programs.
- Develop user-facing and backend software interfacing with high-performance sensor and data-processing systems.
- Contribute to C++ applications and backend systems.
- Support software integration, testing, and debugging.
- Improve system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate across software, systems, and hardware disciplines.
- Apply best practices in systems and performance-oriented software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited school.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as C++, Java, Python, or similar.
- Software development experience through academic work, an internship, or a personal project.
- Exposure to Linux, systems programming, or concurrent programming concepts.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, performance, data flow, system behavior, and core computer science fundamentals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, solve problems, learn new technologies, and work across software-stack layers.
- Ability to reside in or relocate to Huntsville, Alabama for on-site work.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Preferred exposure to ZeroMQ or similar messaging frameworks, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, MATLAB, and radar, RF, or sensor systems.
