Base Salary
$99k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and test Java-based C2BMC applications with industry partners.
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including design artifacts, software changes, reviews, testing, and issue resolution.
- Develop software requirements and architecture for missile defense systems.
- Develop, tailor, deploy, and document integration and test processes, tools, metrics, activities, and events.
- Participate in agile planning and execution using established processes.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and active U.S. Secret clearance are required.
- At least 2 years of backend development experience with Java, Spring, Oracle SQL, or SQL Server.
- At least 2 years of experience working in Unix or Linux environments.
- At least 2 years of experience with development, deployment, and version control tools such as Git, Eclipse, Jira, and VersionOne.
- At least 1 year of SysML Modeling Language experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant Bachelor of Science degree, 3 or more years of related experience, or 5 or more years of related experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- Preferred qualifications include strong Java/Spring development, software design and testing knowledge, SysML and systems engineering artifact experience, Maven or Gradle experience, performance optimization, automated unit testing, and command-and-control software experience.
- Security+ or equivalent certification is preferred within 60 days of starting.

- The role requires an active U.S. Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, U.S. Person status for export control compliance, and possible access to an MDA facility subject to a government background investigation.
